The 35' Californian Convertible is built on a modified-V design with moderate beam and a short skeg below. She is equally at home as a family cruiser or a weekend fisherman.

The interior of the 35' Californian is quite spacious. The salon features a large L-shaped Dinette/Settee with high/lo table forward and to port. To starboard the lower helm is forward, with the galley just aft. Down three steps the master stateroom with queen berth, drawer storage and hanging locker is to port. The rather large enclosed head with stall shower is too starboard. The guest stateroom is forward and features a double over/under berth to port and drawer storage.
